Beth Derech at a Glance

Beth Derech’s Vision

Creating an educational system based on Jesus' discipleship method involves a relational and transformative approach to learning. Central to this concept is the idea of guiding students through personal mentorship and modeling, much like Jesus did with His disciples. This approach emphasizes building meaningful relationships, imparting wisdom through example, and encouraging growth through dialogue and reflection. By focusing on personal connection, experiential learning, and spiritual development, such a system fosters not only academic excellence but also deepens students' faith and character. The goal is to nurture learners who are not only knowledgeable but also equipped to live out their faith with integrity and compassion, following in the footsteps of Christ.

Once upon a time…

Beth Derech Christian School of Discipleship began its journey in 2015 when a dedicated group of visionaries convened at the Lake House Coffee Shop to form the school council. This pivotal meeting marked the inception of a new educational venture grounded in faith and discipleship. Soon after, pioneer families were selected to join this emerging community, laying the foundational fabric of what would become a close-knit and supportive school family. In 2016, the school took a significant step forward with the purchase of a building in Woodland, establishing a physical home for its mission. Despite facing challenging financial periods, the school persevered in faith, demonstrating resilience and commitment to its vision. As Beth Derech continues to grow, it remains steadfast in its mission to serve the Kingdom of God, looking to the future with optimism and a deep commitment to expanding its impact for Christ.
